Tango for Musicians in Europe is an intensive educational program designed for musicians who wish to learn how to play, arrange, compose, improvise, and teach tango and new Argentine music.
Its upcoming edition will take place at the Kunstuniversität Graz (Brandhofgasse 18, 8010, Graz, Austria) from 18-21 September, 2019. Registration for all musicians, including those who are not students at Kunstuniversität Graz, will be open on 13 May, 2019. An Early Bird Discount will be offered for those participants who register before 1 July, 2019.
Tango for Musicians in Europe is open to musicians of all instruments, arrangers, and composers. Enrollment is limited to 100 participants, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
RESERVED SPOTS FOR KUG STUDENTS
There are a number of free places for students of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG). If you are interested, please apply to Sabine Göritzer (sabine.goeritzer(at)kug.ac.at) by 15 June 2019, stating your field of study and enclosing a sound sample. Until 21 June, the candidates for the free places will be selected by the Vice Rector for Art, Elisabeth von Magnus, and Prof. Georg Schulz.
